Best in Class at Salon Privé

September 6, 2016

Salon Privé is one of the premier Concours events in the UK, and last weekend William I’Anson Ltd were there at the 2016 edition with the wonderful 1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Short Chassis Prototype. Currently available with us, it was one of the a few showings for the first Pininfarina bodied 250 Europa in many years. 0297 EU was entered in the ‘Great V12 Ferrari’ class with much strong competition including a Barkaways prepared 365 Daytona, and a 400 Superamerica Aerodynamico from DK Engineering. There was delight when a coveted blue rosette appeared on the windscreen, and when the time came to drive up in front of the judges, it became clear that the elegant 250 Europa had won Best in Class.
